Outbreak of lice

Recent efforts by TICF staff have proved ineffective in halting the spread of pediculus humanus capitis and phthirus pubis among the prisoner population.
Whereas it had been perceived as minor annoyance, the pest of a more resilient genus of lice has returned with a vengeance and for the first time successfully spread between inmates, who shall remain nameless to protect their identities.

Embarrassing as it may be for the unfortunate patients plagued by these seasonal vermin, prison authorities may find themselves under renewed scrutiny on whether adequate care is provided for the vulnerable women in their custody - if the news spread as fast as the parasites do.

We may have had the topic of lice half a year before, but now it comes with animation (and I can never get enough of a thorough delousing - pssst).
